Spring into Action Networking Brunch
NWDVCAS hosted our quarterly Networking Brunch on 18th October 2023 with the theme ‘Spring into Action – working together to put a stop to domestic and family violence’.

Newcastle Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (NWDVCAS) held a Networking Brunch on Wednesday 18th October 2023. The theme for this event was “Spring Into Action” – to showcase women in sport and to celebrate their sporting achievements.
The Networking Brunch provided a space for service providers to come together to build professional connections and share useful information, whilst enjoying some light refreshments and a sausage sizzle.
Guest speakers included:
- Yasmin Clydsdale – Newcastle Knights NRLW Player and NSW Origin NRLW Player
- Holly Fuda – Newcastle Knights NRLW Wellbeing and Education Manager
- Michelle Graham – NSWRL League and Club Support Co-Ordinator and Newcastle Maitland Region Female Pathways
NWDVCAS raffled 5 amazing prizes to raise funds for their service to continue to support women experiencing domestic violence. All proceeds will be used to assist client’s immediate safety needs such as safe transportation to and from court, security cameras, lock changes, food and other essentials items.
It was wonderful getting everyone together and celebrating the achievements for women in sport. We had approximately 95 in attendance.
