Timeless Textiles kind Donation to NWDVCAS

Each year a group of textile artists that meet at the Timeless Textiles art gallery in Newcastle East runs a project to raise funds for a women’s cause. This year the Wednesday Group at Timeless Textiles chose to raise funds for NWDVCAS through a project called Faces and Places. The artists stitched amazing portraits of people, pets and landscapes on commission.

All money raised came directly to WDVCAS to help support women and their children living with domestic violence. Before Christmas 2022 the Wednesday Group presented WDVCAS with the first donation of $1,000. One member of the group donated an additional $1,050. At our International Women’s Day luncheon in March, Timeless Textiles presented NWDVCAS with a further donation of $1,750.

NWDVCAS cannot thank the Timeless Textile ladies enough for their kind donations. One group of extraordinary women reaching out to another!
